There are seasons when we move forward that we have the energy and the clarity to do so with ease and certainty. And then there are seasons when it feels like the price gets higher with each step we take.

There are seasons when God calls us to accept a new assignment and instead of feeling strong, we feel inadequate.

Fear and shame start talking. Old failures begin to erode our confidence and their voices seem much louder than the voice of God. You know the Lord is calling you and stretching you but you still wonder if you can do it and do it right.

Too many Christians live just trying to survive and keep their heads above water, but God has something better in store for you.

God intends for His people to multiply and experience abundance. I believe that survival is a sacred work of the Holy Ghost, but it isn’t the only work. 

There comes a moment when your God-given future starts calling your name. It is time to go beyond simply breathing and to start building.

Early in my ministry, I remember reading the familiar story of David facing Goliath—and realizing I was staring down my own “giants.”

Ministry contains its own share of pain. Rejection, misunderstanding, and betrayal aren’t anomalies; they are part of our ministry to Jesus, who “came to His own, and His own did not receive Him” (John 1:11). The question isn’t whether we will be wounded; it’s what we will do with those wounds.

Every new concept demands we develop a new language.

Not just resolutions, but a language that creates the proper frames of mind that will determine whether we drift or advance, whether we repeat another lap around Kadesh Barnea or enter the Promised Land.

Vision, simply put, is divine guidance—when God reveals His plan and shows us how to align ourselves with it so we can see its fulfillment.

Without vision, chaos reigns supreme…

This scripture reveals the victory that Jesus, the stronger man, has won over the strongman, Satan. The most demonic characteristic you can display outside of un-forgiveness is to quit.

We have all heard words used many times out of context of their biblical meaning: words like “blessed,” “grace,” “favor,” and “love.” These words have a responsibility attached to them, and they require character. They describe God’s goodness.

Too many times, people I know are hindered because they struggle with feelings of inadequacy and insignificance.

When they hear an affirming word such as, “You are loved and valued,” it can be life-changing. The whispers of the enemy have told them that they are unworthy. However, when we learn to affirm, we remind people that God loves them and helps them to receive the courage to pursue God’s best in their lives.

The prayer of Jabez is often overlooked because it is found in a most unlikely place - the genealogies recorded in 1 Chronicles. But when you read it, you discover that every vision is designed to transform us.

Divine favor surpasses the unearned blessings that God freely bestows upon us. It’s a state of growth as we make right choices and honor God by living in agreement with His divine purpose for our lives.

So, how can we cultivate divine favor? What does it look like to make right choices and live for God intentionally?

There’s a difference between knowing about someone and knowing that person personally!

It’s one thing to have facts in your head about “who” God is. It is another thing altogether “to know God” in an intimate relationship!

Let’s put on the whole armor of God, buy the truth and sell it not, keep praying, and stay consecrated to Jesus.

When we do this, we will become strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. No enemy will be able to penetrate the hedge, and we will be safe for the Lord is our mighty tower, our refuge in the storm, and our citadel of strength in the battle.

Remember, we were not meant to fight this battle alone. We need others to help us wrestle the forces of darkness. We need each other’s support, accountability, and collective prayer so our efforts will become anointed and effective.

2024 is over, and 2025 is shaping up to be a year of hope and possibilities. God has a plan for you, filled with new anointing, fresh vision, and increased impact. 

I pray that "where you have planted with tears, may you harvest with joy." "Where you have toiled, may you see the results." "Where you have cried out to God in secret, that God will reward you in public."

I pray for a closer walk with Jesus, a more profound experience of His grace, that we all will linger in His presence and feed on His word.

God gives us strength. When doubts whisper, let His Word roar like a lion to encourage you and to remind you of your calling and His promises. So, embrace the new year with faith, knowing God will reward your efforts and strengthen you for victory.

Everyone enjoys Christmas differently and looks forward to spending time with family and sharing the love of Jesus with others.

The story of Jesus and the wonder of His birth never gets old. For He is the greatest gift ever given.
